We returned from the AZA Directors’ Policy Conference with much to mull over, having gathered with zoo and aquarium leadership to learn, debate, and brainstorm current issues affecting our (and broader) professions (and communities). What were the common themes?
We think big with new leaders & chart a course towards greater mission impact. It’s an exciting time for them to engage their teams & board, listen to their communities, & cultivate relationships.
