Given this new era of uncertainty where economies are stressed, tax bases are morphing, & economic anxiety abounds, it’s existentially important that we adapt & develop new strategies to communicate our worth to our communities.
Who knew where we’d be six months into this pandemic? And where we’ll be six months from now? We’re reflecting, recharging, & planning to continue our successes & make improvements where needed to remain focused on mission, teams, & community.
Even in a time of crisis, conservation remains a core mission of zoos & aquariums. Despite necessary reductions due to reduced budgets, our webinar guest speakers are focused on the path forward, highlighting the need for focus, synergy, & collaboration to create greater impact.
As zoos & aquariums adapt to the “new tomorrow”, we ask ourselves: How might organizations need to restructure to ensure long-term sustainability? What new operating models should we be thinking about? How can we continue to effectively deliver on our conservation education missions?
